Bronze Level approved by SQA

The National Navigation Award Scheme is pleased to announce that the bronze navigation Award has been officially recognised by the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) as a Level Four qualification.

Working with the West Highland College, the Bronze Award was formally assessed by the SQA. The NNAS has implemented a change in the administration of these courses to ensure that both internal and external quality audits can be undertaken. NNAS providers offering bronze courses will be notified of these changes in due course.

The SQA qualification means that students who pass a Bronze Award can now use it on their CVs as a valid qualification.

For those wanting more details, please contact the NNAS office.
