NNAS Courses and Covid Restrictions March 2021

As lockdown begins to be eased across the four home nations, the board of the NNAS feels an update is due.

The four UK nations have all embarked on different approaches and to get a clear picture requires a great deal of patience and to some extent interpretation of the rules. Furthermore at the time of writing, not all the home nations have announced their plans.

As such the NNAS can only advise that, in terms of running NNAS courses, they must be run according to the national or local regulations, in which the provider operates or where the operator is based – whichever is appropriate. However it must be stressed that travelling to a different area to run courses is still actively discouraged.

It remains the Provider’s responsibility to operate according to the current most up-to-date local and national advice.

As for NNAS-organised courses and training events, we are monitoring the situation and will advise candidates accordingly.
